The Hidden Dangers of Building: A Guide to Construction Site Hazards

The construction industry is a vital part of the UK economy, but it’s also one of the most dangerous. In 2022-23, 45 people died in construction-related accidents, and 53,000 were injured. That’s why it’s important for everyone involved in construction to be aware of the hazards and how to stay safe.

Common Construction Site Hazards

Working at height: This is the most common cause of fatal accidents in construction. Always use proper safety equipment, such as harnesses and lanyards, when working at height.
